KESAR PISTA SMOOTHIE BOWL






INGREDIENTS

Smoothie

• ¼ teaspoon saffron strands, soaked in warm water

• 2 frozen bananas

• 10 pistachios, soaked

• ⅓ cup coconut milk

• 1 tablespoon jaggery

• 2 dates, de-seeded

• ½ teaspoon cardamom powder

• pinch of rock salt

Topping

• 1 tablespoon roasted and crushed pistachios

• 1 tablespoon roasted and crushed almonds

• 1 teaspoon rose petals

• few strands of saffron

 

PREPARATION

• Soak ¼ teaspoon saffron strands in 1 tablespoon hot water for 15 minutes.

• Take 2 bananas, peel, slice and put in the freezer for about 6 hours.

• Soak 10 pistachios in water for 6 hours.

METHOD

 

1. Place all the smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (make sure to also add the water in which the saffron was soaked).

2. Pour into bowls and top with pistachios, almonds, rose petals and saffron.
